Your featured post will remain on our platform(s) indefinitely. However, due to social media’s ever changing algorithm, we reserve the right to delete any post after it’s been listed for more the one week. As of now, all blogs and featured social posts have remained listed.

Each listing displays a share link. By clicking on the share link, a window will appear, enabling you to post the listing to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or send it via email.

Every day, Clarenceslist.com adds new businesses, services, and jobs to its platform. If you cannot find the specific type of listing you are looking for, please utilize our “Contact Us” page, and we will gladly assist you.

To ensure optimal results and avoid serving oversized or blurry images, please adjust the dimensions of the images to 480 x 350 pixels with 72 dpi.

The following guidelines apply:

  • The maximum total allowed file size is 2.00 MB.
  • Up to 4 files are allowed.
  • The maximum width allowed is 1080 pixels.

You can refer almost anything that meets the minimum requirements. You can refer places, restaurants, services, people, organizations, events, and much more. For more information, please visit our “Refer a Listing” page.

If you forget your password, click on the “Recover Password” link on the “Login” page. The system will send a password recovery email to the email address provided in your Contact Information. The email will include a link that redirects you to the “My Profile” section, where you can update your password.

The search result and listings pages can be featured at the top for a number of days, but it requires an additional payment.

  4. Offensive or Inappropriate Content: Content that is explicit, vulgar, discriminatory, or promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or any other protected characteristic.

Yes, all reviews on Clarence’s List are public, and it is not possible to add an anonymous review. When you write a review, others may be able to access the following information:

  • The name associated with your review.
  • Your email address will not be published.
  • Any additional photos you have uploaded to Clarence’s List or Gravatar.
  • Reviews that you have written on Clarence’s List.

  1. Verify your Listing Profile: By verifying your Listing Profile, you ensure that your listing information appears on Maps, Search, and other online services. It also allows you to respond to reviews. Verification requires having a “verified listing”.
  2. Encourage everyone to leave reviews: Inform individuals that “leaving reviews” is a quick and easy process. It is important for listing owners not to offer incentives in exchange for reviews. “Sharing a link” can help facilitate the review process among your audience.
  3. Respond to reviews to build trust: Engage with your audience by “reading and replying to their reviews”. By doing so, you demonstrate that your listing values their input, which helps build trust and credibility.
  4. Value all reviews: Reviews are valuable when they are honest and objective. A mix of positive and negative reviews is often considered more trustworthy. It is recommended to respond to reviews to show your care and provide additional context. If a review violates “our posting guidelines”, you can “request its removal”.

Please note that following these best practices will contribute to a positive review experience and foster an environment of transparency and trust.

Clarence’s List reviews offer valuable insights and enhance the visibility of your listing. Ratings and review counts are displayed alongside your Listing Name in both Grid and List Layout views, while the reviews themselves appear at the bottom of your Listing Profile.

Tip: Leaving a review on Clarence’s List does not require users to have a Clarence’s List account.

You have the option to create and share a link that allows everyone to easily leave reviews. To encourage others to use the link, consider the following methods:

  • Include the link in thank you emails.
  • Add it as a closing remark in chat interactions.
  • Include it on your receipts.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to finding and sharing your review link:

  1. Go to your Listing. If you need assistance “finding your listing”, refer to our guide on locating it.
  2. To find your review link, follow these steps:
    • With the Listing Page Layout, click on “Share” at the top right for reviews.
  3. Once you have obtained the review link, you can share it directly with everyone or use the sharing options provided.

By providing a convenient review link, you make it easier for others to provide feedback on your listing, enhancing its visibility and reputation.

On Clarence’s List, you have the opportunity to write reviews for listings. You can share your experiences and provide feedback on the platform. Additionally, you can also include additional information about a listing, such as whether it offers a quiet and romantic ambiance or if it is currently undergoing renovation.

Currently, deleting reviews is not an available feature on Clarence’s List. Once a review is submitted, it remains visible on the platform. Therefore, we encourage users to carefully consider their feedback before submitting a review.

Tip: Please note that your reviews and opinions are entirely voluntary. At Clarence’s List, we do not compensate or pay reviewers to add reviews. We believe in providing an authentic platform for users to share their genuine experiences and opinions.
